The EMS system (Overhead Conveyor) is a special system of transport by rail, very common in all industrial sectors, where logistics, interface to the warehouse (warehouse picking) and space research are basic. In the traditional version it is composed of an electrified aluminum rail with copper strips and brushes of a copper-graphite can slide along them. These brushes can give power to the equipment that move independently along the way (Electrified Monorail System).

Further than the traditional EMS, you can find the inductive EMS, able to supply the  Overhead Conveyors without using any direct contact between brushes and strips. In this system the data are transmitted without any contact too (induction or wireless)
